Senior Digital Marketing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Emerge Education has an immediate opening on our growing team for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager supporting our partner higher education institutions under the SVP of Marketing. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for executing and contributing to the marketing plans and the tactical marketing functions of the organization. This position will deliver creative digital lead generation strategies, oversees vendor relationships, and will help deliver world-class marketing services to our educational partner institutions that drive growth. The ideal candidate will have experience leading and executing digital marketing campaigns, social media campaign management, content marketing/SEO strategies, and email marketing campaign management. MUST BE LOCATED IN THE GREATER HARRISBURG (PA) REGION.

This Senior Digital Marketing Manager candidate would have experience developing complex social media (and other digital campaign experience) campaigns leveraging a variety of content that drive company lead and performance objectives. Other key requirements include a collaborative work style, strong verbal and written communication skills, marketing project management experience, budget management experience, a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage the pressures of a fast paced, goal-oriented online marketing environment. Preferred candidate is to have a broad digital background, an eye for graphical layout detail, a creative flair, strong data literacy/analytical skills, and the ability to manage client relationships to drive successful marketing project outcomes.

  • Collaborate with marketing team on contributing to strategic marketing budget, plans, goals and performance metrics for each client institution and program in collaboration with the SVP of Marketing and other key marketing team members
  • Develop and drive strategic and tactical initiatives that delivery qualified student prospects
  • Experience managing effect social campaigns by leading efforts in Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok to achieve ROI success
  • Contribute to the content/SEO effort with article, video and graphical content to be leveraged throughout the marketing ecosystem and managed websites
  • Contribute to the marketing department’s goals and objectives
  • Develop innovative lead generation strategies through research, experience, and strong data analysis expertise that deliver results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills needed to contribute to contribute to client management, content development, and plan management
  • Develop and present client presentations that effectively communicate Emerge strategies and goals to educational partners
  • Manage and negotiate relationships with third-party media and advertising vendors
  • Willing to roll-up-your sleeves and offer solutions or take on tasks that drive successful campaigns and deliver planned marketing outcomes
  • Perform other marketing duties as assigned by the SVP of Marketing

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to manage simultaneous project deadlines
  • Team collaboration and communication skills, with proven ability to build consensus and work effectively across departments
  • Experience analyzing existing campaigns and developing new digital marketing campaigns that maximize results
  • Strong understanding of and interest in social media campaign management, search engine optimization, and inbound marketing strategies
  • Proven experience in leveraging Google Analytics to drive solutions and campaign decisions
  • Experience with our campaign management tools/platforms from Facebook, Google and other digital sources to achieve results

JOB LOCATION/EQUIPMENT

This position must be located at Emerge Education headquarters in Camp Hill, PA. Equipment used includes, but is not limited to: telephone, personal computer and required software programs (Microsoft Office, Google Mail, Salesforce CRM, WordPress or other CMS tools, Google Analytics, Adobe creative tools and others), printer, fax machine, copy machines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related discipline
  • Five to seven years of digital/non-digital marketing experience
  • To talk and hear with enough proficiency to allow for communicating with co-workers, clients, and existing and prospective students by phone or in person
  • Facebook certified

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with the WordPress or other CMS tool
  • Experience with MailChimp, Pardot or other automated email marketing tools
  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related discipline
  • Working experience in higher education either directly for an OPM, another college/university or other higher education service provider
  • Knowledge of HootSuite or another social media management tool
  • Other digital marketing certifications/credentials
